The unto inc. Child Sponsorship program is designed to help children who are orphaned physically and spiritually. We can provide you with the opportunity of extending your love to a boy or gild in a developing nation of the world. For less than a cup of coffee a day, you can send a child to school!
Our sponsorship program provides for this in a variety of ways. We believe that education is vital to a child’s future success and therefore all of our projects provide Christian education. This often includes allotting of books, materials, and school uniforms. We also believe that children should learn life skills and be nurtured in their physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Therefore our projects provide a healthy living environment where the love of God is demonstrated in the word and action. Emotional guidance, recreational activities and vocational training are some of the tangible ways in which this is manifested. Depending on the level of need in a country, many of our projects also provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, medical and dental care, and transportation.
Child sponsorship provides the unique opportunity to connect with a child and our projects. Once you select a child at a specific project, your financial support of $31 per month will be used to ensure that your sponsor child, along with every other child at the project, is well profided for. It is our goal to have every child sponsored at each of our projects, but until then, no child will go without. All of your support is forwarded directly to the project with the exception of the 15% mission fee that unto deducts, enabling us to continue to serve effectively. Your sponsorship payments can be made annually ($372), quarterly ($93), or monthly ($31), by pre-authorized withdrawals from a bank account or credit card. Should you choose not to sign-up for our pre-authorized payment plan, you can choose to pay annually by check or credit card.
Your gifts are tax-deductible, will be receipted at year end, and mailed to you in January of each year. While there is no specific time commitment required to initiate your sponsorship, we ask that you pledge to sponsor your child for a minimum of one year. In addition to your financial commitment, the most important thing you can do is to pray daily for your sponsor child. This support goes hand in hand with the vision of our project partners as they seek to raise strong Christians, valuable members of society, and capable leaders within their community and country.
Unto inc. works with the compassionate national staff to ensure that the sponsored children are individually assisted and monitored. Every effort is made to keep sponsors informed through newsletters and school report cards.
